P3 Project: Day 3 of 1400 - Benefits of Not Smoking

So, Saturday morning, Elli and I went to hang out with the Keffers, which is always relaxing. However, as any of you who know me know, I've had a problem with quitting smoking for the past three or four years now, which never seemed like a big issue to me before. However, after not smoking for a while, I got to see an actual tangible benefit to it for once. Little Keffer was running around in the yard kicking a soccer ball and being the good uncle that I am, I decided to join him.

Now, before I go any further, I can't remember the last time I had a cigarette before this moment happened...
We ran around kicking and shuffling and passing the ball for more than an hour. During which time, I went inside to check on my girlfriend (who was intently playing Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Woot!) and had a quick conversation with her about something unimportant in the grand scheme of things. Why unimportant?

I wasn't gasping for air. In fact, I felt awesome! (A little sweaty, but not too bad)

I actually ended up kicking the ball around with Keffer and a neighborhood kid for another thirty minutes before my knee started to ache. It was at that moment, and none before that I realized that I wanted to make sure I kicked the smoking habit. Is it possible that I may smoke again? Honestly, it's possible. Until I get my temper completely in check, smoking is still the fastest and simplest way to cool me down quickly...

Maybe that should be my next short term goal?
